A Beloved Wife Is a Princess

A fake tsundere old emperor and a genuinely sweet, clueless little favorite consort.

Luo Buwei loves Saren more than life itself. He may not say it, but he spoils her until she's a little crab running wild through the imperial harem.

"Your Majesty, this concubine believes age is no barrier, but those other consorts of yours..."

"I'll handle them."

If you love her, spoil her with everything you've got, with no regard for rules or morals.

A loyal dog may be old, but he's still a loyal dog.

The sweetness begins in Chapter Five.

Extra scenes:

"Your Majesty, I used to think 'white lotus' was a compliment."

"Oh? And now?"

"I've learned a saying: a turd may shine on the outside."

"Guards! Burn Consort Ming's study down for me, right now!"

"Your Majesty, my father used to say you were too old."

"Can't you tell for yourself whether I'm old?"

"Then do you love me, Your Majesty?"

"Don't start. I'm getting on in years."

PPPPS:

1. Happy ending, one-on-one romance, and I will never abandon this story.

2. Readers who care about historical accuracy, enter with caution.

3. Awu writes slowly. I recommend bookmarking this and letting chapters build up before reading. (Am I silly?)

4. Please point out mistakes and offer suggestions. The more, the better, but no personal attacks, okay? Awu will cry (and look awful doing it).
