[JX3] Ballad of the Mountain Spirit

One day, after waking up, Miao discovered that time in this world had fast-forwarded. Everyone and everything she knew, except for her, had turned into pale, cold pages of history. The smoke of war had burned away every secret of that age, and the Yin-Yang School's glory had long since become a thing of the past. Like everyone born in later generations, she was shut out of that era by cold historical records, left to guess what had happened from the lines on the page, even though she had once been part of the story's beginning. The Tang Dynasty is a magical place. Many years later, her old friends had all grown up, and Miao seemed to have changed the most of them all. By the end of the story, whether Zhuangzi dreamed he was a butterfly or a butterfly dreamed it was Zhuangzi no longer seemed to matter. Every secret had been revealed. Her only wish now was to spend this hard-won lifetime with the person she loved. Surely she wouldn't have such bad luck again in this life? Notes: 1. Set in the world of Jian Wang 3, with a male-female romance. 2. The worldbuilding includes elements from the Qin's Moon animated series and has a fantasy tone. Please don't confuse it with actual history. 3. Pairing: Mo Yu. 4. Qin's Moon is still ongoing. The sections involving it contain many personal inventions, and any inaccuracies are the author's own changes. Please go easy on readers who care about canon. 5. I can't guarantee the characters won't be out of character, but I'll do my best to keep them recognizable. Theme: A daydream combining the worlds of Qin's Moon and Jian Wang 3
