Modern-Day Stories
I haven't read many modern-day novels, so I put them all on one list.
Masters of Romance-Focused Fiction, Keep Updating for Ten Thousand Years
I absolutely love these!!!!!!!!!!
Top-Tier Comfort Food for Omnivorous Readers
Absolute peak. I wish I could drink a bowl of Meng Po's soup and start over, so I'm trying not to write reviews and spoil the memories.
Slightly Niche Books I Love (Are They Even Niche?)
Just as the name says. I made this for myself to play around with, anyway. BL
The XP Appreciation Convention (Bottom-Protagonist Edition)
Not for people who are particular about their favorite characters. This is purely driven by my kinks.
Old and Obscure Stories
These are mostly older, obscure stories with some pretty weird kinks. There are stories with tops, bottoms, and switches.
Ghosts, Superpowers, and Infinite-Loop Stories
Superpowers, ghosts and monsters, infinite-flow stories, and cosmic horror, told from both the top's and the bottom's perspectives.
Persimmon’s Bookshelf! (Original Works)
I’m really just saving stories I’ve read, you know. Somehow I’ve read so many novels. Saving them here! Some aren’t five stars because JJ won’t let me rate them, aaaaah
So! Good! BG Reading List
A bit of everything, handpicked by Nanyu
Books I Think Are Incredibly Good
I read a bit of everything.
Unhinged Characters
They may be the bottom, or they may be the top
A BL Version of a Reading List I Can't Quite Describe
Click into this list and you'll discover a whole new world, with lots of niche kink picks. If they're not your thing, please don't come at me. Please let me off easy.
Novellas
Happy reading
A One-Stop Shop for Danmei, Something for Everyone
Classic delicacies, creepy cuisine, sweet treats, and snacks, all included!
Light Fantasy
Set in an alternate modern world, with a few unreal elements, but not many, such as being reborn, transmigrating, or ABO.
Hidden Gems
Underrated, unusual, weirdly niche, and they really stay with you.
Personal Favorites
Out of the hundreds of novels I've finished, these are a rare few that I immediately saved and kept coming back to after reading. I just couldn't put them down.
Read
For leaving reviews. Most are so awful I couldn't keep reading. I'm writing a note so I don't unknowingly click on them again.
Read List 2
BL, no particular criteria, all kinds of stories (I rarely read top gong stories and haven't paid attention, but there are probably some). The list caps out at 100 books, so I put in a hundred. Too lazy to write reviews.
My Undying Love
I mean, these are really, really good! (Sorting is such a pain, so I just put the books I've been able to get into over the years here. Sigh.)
Rare Stories I Love and Keep Rereading
Personal preferences: I like couples who dote on each other, and writing that's decent or better. I can't stand shocking harem-favorite tropes or protagonists who are just background props. I care more about the leads' characterization and romance than the plot.
[BL] Powerful Couples, Ongoing Updates
Strong-strong BL, mostly with a bottom or switching roles. ^The three-star rating should be four stars, four stars should be four and a half, and five stars means five stars.
Character Growth and Romance Arcs
Stories centered on daily life, school, esports, the entertainment industry, and romance
Books
A mixed bag, with a little bit of everything
