Qin Mu, who is afraid of marriage, gets a proposal from her childhood friend Song Qi. His reasons are perfectly sound: she doesn't want to get married, and he's too lazy to date.

They agreed when they got married that they wouldn't fall for each other. After the wedding, Qin Mu did her best to maintain that delicate balance.

Not long afterward, Mr. Song took advantage of a dark, moonless night to pin his childhood sweetheart to the bed and kiss her until she couldn't breathe, then rasped at her to call him "Hubby."

Years later, Qin Mu finally discovered Song Qi's secret: he had married her for one reason and one reason only, because he loved her.

He had once left her for four years. It was the longest and most regrettable separation of their lives. His rose had been hurt during those four years.

What could he do? He could only spend the rest of his life making it up to her...
