[This novel is complete. The next one is The Last Orange Cat in the Galaxy: ABO, a cute pet fairy tale. Check it out in the author's catalog!] Who would've thought that even a host could become someone's target? Is there no place left untouched by the entertainment industry? Shan Yang is a decent person with plenty of talent, but it seems being a good person doesn't count for much. He wants to become a host, yet remains unknown. Things take a turn after a bizarre kidnapping. Once the "kidnappers" decide Shan Yang has the potential to be a responsible breadwinner, bam! A mysterious catlike man drops from the sky and announces that he's taking over Shan Yang's life. But as it turns out, this mysterious man isn't a cat. He's just a man with a cat complex. Fortunately, Shan Yang's life suddenly turns into a straightforward inspirational tale. It's as if the lucky Cat God has taken a shine to him, filling him with the aura of someone who has cheats enabled. Years later, he's a legend. His show has become a prestigious program that sets the standard for top-tier entertainment, and he eventually finds a wonderful love of his own. The plainest stone sheds its dust and shines with the brightest light. Catlike top X doglike bottom, 1v1, happy ending, very sweet romance P.S. This entertainment industry exists only in the author's irresponsible imagination. The characters aren't based on anyone in particular, so please enjoy with an open mind. Below is the blurb for the ongoing novel, The Last Orange Cat Omega, a cute interstellar pet fairy tale. The big-shot orange cat is tired of his wandering life of fighting and killing. After a failed attempt to get someone to take him in, he is reborn as the only cat in the entire galaxy, a young Omega lord of the big-cat clan. He's lazy and loves good food, and if he can lie down, he absolutely won't sit. Who could have guessed that this useless, good-for-nothing fluffball, whose only talent is eating, would dare to openly try to get an Alpha human to take him in? Humans are an endangered species of national-treasure status in the galaxy, and competition for a chance to take one in is fierce. To successfully take charge of the human he's been dreaming about, the orange cat is forced to work hard. He trounces all his competitors, rises to fame, and becomes the most popular sleep-aid ASMR streamer in the Insomnia Empire, broadcasting purrs and naps, as well as one-sided displays of affection. Bottom: My human and I were made for each other. We're getting married soon, and I'll give you all wedding candy then. ["What's it like to receive a wedding invitation and discover that you're the groom?"] Top: ...Thanks for asking. Bottom: I've got my eye on you. I want to take you in. From now on, I'll be the only one who goes purr-purr to lull you to sleep. Do you like that? Other beasts: We don't! Please, show us some love too! Bottom: They want me to spread my affection around, but I'm only going to spoil you! Top: Such overwhelming love. (He hefts the orange cat.) "Even if there's only one cat in the entire universe, it can still rule the world by being adorable. See how the big-shot orange cat pampers his human online, spreading the love and life philosophy of kittens. Highly recommended for insomniacs, sugar-starved readers, and humans who love watching cat videos." -- Recommended by The Furry Cat Daily Please check out my author page, and feel free to add it to your favorites!
