A Heaven-Sent Match

Li Bansian: I break up ill-fated couples. Liu Matchmaker: I bring people together. Li Bansian: The Matchmaker God may agree, but I don't. Matching families by status is no good, and a melon forced off the vine isn't sweet. Liu Matchmaker: If the red thread won't connect them, I'll connect it myself. Mutual affection is what matters most. Only flowers growing together smell sweet. Li Bansian: If I say you should split, then split! I don't care if you're a rich young lady or a fine young gentleman. It takes two willing hearts. Scumbags, get lost! Liu Matchmaker: If I say you can make it, then you can! I don't care if you're an orphan, a widow, or a jinx. You can still find a husband who treats you well and be a virtuous wife. Stepmothers, begone! Li Bansian & Liu Matchmaker: Fate without a match is pure nonsense. Husband and wife, let's go home together! Oh yeah! --------This is the line separating the half-immortal and the matchmaker------- 1. The half-immortal is paired with the matchmaker: a middle-aged romance between a widower and a widow, one-on-one. 2. An anthology of stories, with scumbags and stepmothers, domestic scheming, and sweet romance. This author has had a baby!! Sorry, I'll have to be away for a while!! This author has given birth!!
