The Emperor Seems Off (System)

Synopsis

Lin Long is so troubled. Why does His Majesty keep finding excuses to get close to her? It makes her heart ache.

After a serious illness, Emperor Jianzhao starts acting strangely. Whenever he sees Lin Long, he is like a bee that has found nectar, buzzing right over to her. Lin Long is speechless. She came to deal with the emperor's favorite consort, not to become one herself!

Your Majesty, please stay away from me.

The emperor: I won't stay away! I won't! I won't!

Notice: This author has to say that this story won't be behind a paywall, but it won't be long either. It'll probably be a medium-length or short story. I know I'm not good at palace or household intrigue, so I wanted to practice, but I found I really couldn't write it. I just don't have the brains for all those schemes. Some of the old, familiar plotlines feel childish and unoriginal, so I'll do my best to keep writing the story I want to write. It won't be behind a paywall, and it won't be very long. Think of it as practice.

If there's anything you don't like or aren't happy with, feel free to tell me so I can improve. Mwah!
