The Ordinary World

Our lives are actually quite ordinary. There are no heroes or dragons, no princesses or princes. No aliens will suddenly show up from the sky and say, “Actually, you’re the reincarnation of Jesus, and you have to save the universe.” Nor will the earth suddenly split open and swallow you into another age of chaos and war. We simply live ordinary lives in this world and fall in love in ordinary ways. Then we carry on living. A little office worker and a young professor, in love with each other. A girl with “fear of the opposite sex syndrome.” All of us are simply doing our best to pursue the little bit of happiness that might be within reach. Doing our best to keep living. That takes courage, too. Contains some danmei elements. I've been feeling gloomy lately, and doodled this while watching advanced mathematics tutorials. I wrote it purely to comfort myself. Theme:
