Liang Xin spent her whole life suffering, making sacrifices for her two older brothers and younger sister, while ruining her own life. She died with many regrets, the biggest being that she had never lived a single day for herself. The siblings she had worked so hard for didn't even come to see her one last time.
Liang Xin never expected to be reborn. She returned to 1980, to the rural village where she'd spent her whole life, a brick in her hands. The sun overhead made her dizzy and her ears ring. She put down the brick and raced home to negotiate with her mother: Could she keep going to school?
