The Selfish One and the Nice Guy

The selfish one and the good-natured one are two cats.

They meet in the backyard of a bad-tempered old man, enjoy an ordinary life, experience separation, and face setbacks.

They support each other and go through the years of growing up together.

At last, the two cats grow up. The selfish one is selfish no longer, while the good-natured one is still as kind as ever.

Don't let this literary-sounding blurb scare you off. This is really just a cute cat story =￣ω￣=

[User Guide]

① Strictly speaking, this can't be called a romance, since the protagonists are two genuine cats.

② The two cats live in the countryside, so there won't be cat food, cat houses, or litter boxes.

③ Although the lazy author has had cats, they don't know much about feline behavior, so there may be inconsistencies.

④ This story was inspired by the two cats at the author's grandmother's home. Apart from the setting and the cats' personalities, everything else is fictional.
