Fleeting Glory [Twelve Kingdoms, Fangji Kingdom]

In the sixth year of Yonghe, the king ruled with cruelty and injustice. The Marquis of Yuexi in Huizhou joined forces with the Marquis of Hezhou to rebel, murdering the king, the queen, and Taifu. The king was posthumously titled Lie. That same year, a Feng fruit ripened on Peng Mountain, but after three days it was devoured by the eclipse and scattered across Kunlun. All under Heaven said this was Heaven's punishment. In the eighth year, Yuexi established the Yueyin dynasty, and declared the first year of Chengyue. In the twelfth year of Chengyue, the eclipse came, and Fengqi returned to Peng Mountain. Yellow banners flew throughout the land. That autumn, Bai Chami entered the Yellow Sea through the Lingxun Gate, climbed Peng Mountain, and made a pact with Fengqi. She entered the ranks of the gods and was crowned King Feng. Chami was a Tai fruit. Her original surname was Tu, her given name Mi, and her courtesy name Fuye. She and Fengqi returned to Fang in the same year. She changed her name to Bai Eryu and took Chami as her courtesy name. By Heaven's decree, she ascended the throne and changed the era name to Yongchu. Thus began the Bai dynasty.
