Time Flies and Casts Us Aside [Nobunaga's Ambition Online Fan Fiction]

A fanfiction based on Nobunaga's Ambition Online: The Flying Dragon expansion. I played this game for exactly seven months in total, from January 7 to August 8, 2007, when the servers shut down... So I’m actually still unfamiliar with quite a few aspects of the game... orz But while the servers were down, I was terribly bored... After much thought, I decided to write something that was part fanfiction and part memoir, slowly putting it together as I remembered things... As they say, three parts truth and seven parts fiction. That’s about right. Heh. The game version is The Flying Dragon expansion, so I can skip the long stretch of NPC quests in the beginner village from The Breaking Dawn expansion and get straight to the friendships between player characters. I’m very grateful for that. Also, so this can at least sort of be read as a novel, I’ve anthropomorphized the NPCs in the game while writing... Fellow players who have played this game, if any, please don’t insist on matching the characters too closely with the NPCs or players in the game, or go looking for bugs where the game’s settings conflict with the fanfiction. Many thanks. This is half memoir and half fanfiction, so it may not be to everyone’s taste. Read with caution. [Actually, what I want to say is, I haven’t deliberately written in plain language for so many years. Even though this turned out to be a mess, there’s still a little thrill in writing this way...] = =|||
