Traveling with Sherlock Holmes

This is a story about a man who enjoys a happy life in an ordinary world, living by the motto "A passerby through a field of flowers, never touching a single blade of grass," until he ends up in a parallel world with Lovecraftian elements. After all sorts of strange events, he finds true love. Blurb: After waking up, Ilya finds himself inexplicably under arrest. He'd just broken up with his ex-boyfriend again and gone on his usual vacation. The charge: murdering his ex-boyfriend out of spite after a bitter breakup! When the police show him a sketch, Ilya is completely at a loss. Wait a minute! Who is this man?! Why don't I recognize him?! After being arrested and locked up, Ilya is surprised to find that everything around him is bizarre, as if it were centuries old. Even stranger is his cellmate. The man claims to be the world's only consulting detective: Sherlock Holmes. He says he's investigating a case involving sacrifices to an evil god. "The deity's followers are hiding among the prisoners." But the strangest thing of all is this: Sherlock Holmes is his husband, the man he is legally married to. * A lightly Lovecraftian parallel world, a strange and eerie tale that begins in prison. Not scary. * Age gap, an old flame reignited, married first and in love later. * A brilliant, scheming older top x a silly, beautiful younger bottom. Holmes's character combines elements from the TV adaptation and the novels, with a few personal touches. The story includes original cases, cases from the original Sherlock Holmes stories, and some famous old cases. The original setting was a crossover with the DC and Marvel universes. I've since revised it so it no longer counts as one, but I love some of those ideas, so a few elements will remain. That's the blurb for now. I'll revise it again before I start posting. Intended message: Stay true to yourself
