Ideas That Won't Turn Into Black Holes by Meimao Xiaowanwan From ancient times to the present, from astronomy and geography to history and warfare, business and entertainment, magic and cultivation, romance and BL: as long as life goes on, the ideas keep coming. There are only 24 hours in a day, but the possibilities are endless. Meimao has always been reliable about finishing stories, in the sense that I keep coming up with ideas but don't stitch them together, and keep digging story pits but don't fill them in... This is a new experiment for Meimao: writing down all kinds of ideas and collecting them in one place, so I can preserve my inspiration and prepare for future stories. Some entries here are just simple premises, while others are complete outlines. Feel free to use the premises, as long as you leave a comment and credit me when you do. As for the outlines, please respect the hard work I've put into them and don't plagiarize them. Back when I was in school, there was a practice in graduate-level academic writing known as "staking a claim and keeping others out." If you discovered a new field or came up with a new research topic, you wouldn't just dive straight in. First, you'd publish one or two short papers to show that you were working on it and ask others not to quietly jump in, rush their own papers out, and claim the results, creating unfair competition.
