The CEO's Journal

Side A: Cheng Fangbo is an ordinary office worker, timid and rather weak-willed. He has secretly loved his classmate for ten years, never daring to confess. At last, the other person learns how he feels and agrees to be with him, but only on the condition that he take the blame for them. Not long after he is sent to prison, he hears that the other person has married the daughter of the company's boss. Once Cheng Fangbo comes to his senses, he gives up on them completely. Just when he least expects it, things take a turn: a month later, he is released. Someone has posted bail for him, and he gets the chance to receive medical treatment outside prison. What follows is a life of unexpected good fortune and a job even better than his old one, and it all has countless connections to a man named Xiao Gang... Side B: Xiao Tianzong built an empire worth billions from nothing, yet even after turning thirty, he still had no marriage prospects. By chance, he discovers that the office worker he once had a crush on has hit a rough patch in life. Delighted, he launches a series of schemes, casting a huge net in the hope of drawing him into his arms and never letting him go. He thinks Xiao Gang's identity has gone unnoticed, but the office worker figured it all out long ago. Playing along, he starts a flirtatious game of cat and mouse with him.
