[Even though exams are over, as I wrote this I realized it had gotten too sweet. I wanted to dilute that with some silly humor, but lately I've been so serious that I can't think of any jokes. Let me mull it over for another couple of days _(:з"∠)_]
A little preview:
Only fifteen minutes into the pop quiz, Jibu had already breezed through to the last question without much effort. The questions were so easy!
But with one small question left, Jibu suddenly noticed that Higuchi O had fallen fast asleep in the seat by the window...
What really got to him was that she'd already filled in her test paper, the one she was sleeping on.
Jibu flicked his pen cap at her, waking Higuchi up.
Startled awake, Higuchi leaped to her feet and shouted in a panic, "Don't abduct me and take me off the planet!"
All the students taking the quiz turned to stare at her in shock...
Jibu: Your brain's gone mush from sleeping!
The pairing is set. It's silly comedy all the way through. The heroine, Higuchi O, is Lord Jibu's devoted, loyal hater, dedicated to ruining his noble and glamorous image. She's got a touch of Mary Sue, plus the loyalty of a shameless henchman. She's a full-blown nutcase beyond treatment, so there may be some troubling parts later on. The story starts in the middle. The heroine did not transmigrate. She's an academic genius and an all-around athlete. Tennis doesn't have much to do with the story; it's simply an excuse for her to chase after Lord Jibu.
A Jibu pairing is only fun when it's got both swoon-worthy moments and landmines, right, folks? _(:з"∠)_
