Niche Hidden-Gem Historical Novels I Keep Rereading
I'll add historical romance novels from time to time. Some are pretty obscure. There are both completed and ongoing stories, and they're all ones that moved me and are worth rereading. Jinjiang won't let me give five stars.
Romance Novels I've Read Over the Years
I prefer stories where both leads are hopelessly love-struck, with melodramatic plots and Mary Sue heroines. I dislike overly delicate, cringe-inducing characters and side couples that steal the spotlight. My tastes vary: I enjoy both wish-fulfillment power fantasies and stories where the protagonist suffers, but I read fewer slow-burn, understated stories.
