False Consensus Effect

[DM Psychology Terms, Part Two: Ping Xie] Blurb: We usually believe that our hobbies are the same as those of most people. The tendency to overestimate the number of people who share our behavior and attitudes is called the "false consensus bias." But this "usually" is really limited to just "usually." Wu Xie finds it incredibly exasperating that Zhang Qiling, this "human" who doesn't share the hobbies of normal people at all, is so difficult to deal with. "You don't like women?" "No." "Then why are you coming after me when I'm not a woman?" "Love has nothing to do with gender." Wu Xie lowered his head helplessly. How was he supposed to explain it all to Zhang Qiling... Come to think of it, when did he fall for him? [An alternate-universe tomb-raiding story, assassin Ge X delinquent rich heir Xie. Same setting as Visual Persistence.]
