[Harry Potter] The Girl from Princeton

At sixteen, a young witch opened her grandfather's alchemy workshop out of curiosity. The horror before her left her speechless. She locked the door behind her, shouldered her schoolbag, and swore to leave the Wizarding World forever. "My name is Irene. I don't have a letter of recommendation. But I can do magic, and I want to be a student here!" Princeton University, the private university that had strictly admitted only wealthy white men since the Revolutionary War. That year, its first-ever class of women stepped onto the ancient campus under the watchful eyes of the media. "I respect you as the headmaster of Hogwarts." The girl in the cave turned the crystal goblet in her hand, her gaze indifferent. "But I am a Princeton student." "Hello, my name is Irene Prince." Atop the tower, the black-haired girl looked straight into the Potions professor's eyes, ignoring the green-eyed boy's stunned expression. "It's an honor... to share your mother's name." "With the aid of demons, I shall create a woman who perfectly fulfills their demands: Saint Asode." A mysterious alchemy journal unleashed a bloody storm. Six girls were slaughtered in a secret chamber, their bodies left mutilated. "I cannot forgive myself for my sins. Irene, goodbye. Farewell forever." The nearly completed bridge of the century collapsed with a roar. The lives of 117 workers became vengeful spirits, coalescing into the twisted, tormented Engineer's Ring. "For the Greater Good... is that it?" The leader of Hogwarts breathed his last before the young student. "How strange. At the very beginning, I, too, believed in it without question." "What a strange name," the little boy asked curiously from the windowsill. "Dad, why am I called Severus?" The young engineer gazed at the hexagonal iron ring and gave a faint, bitter smile. "Maybe... to honor someone from another world." I had a sudden whim to write a transmigrate-into-the-original-story extra, and it seemed rather fun. So, the main plot stays the same, but the young hero and heroine will appear, in an Inception-like manner, at several points in the original stories Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows, alternating unpredictably. Maybe I wanted to contrast it with the "British aristocratic spirit" that was so often portrayed in the Harry Potter fanfiction scene back then...
