Love in the Forest

My mom told me Li Sen got divorced.

He'd been married for three years, and they didn't have any kids yet. Somehow, he got divorced.

I asked my mom why.

She said she didn't know, only that she'd heard his wife had dumped him.

"What about you?" Mom asked. "When are you finally going to find someone?"

I was looking at the news on my phone.

"On the evening of October 3, 2016, people across China will have the chance to witness a beautiful 'celestial romance' as bright Venus appears alongside the crescent moon. If the weather is clear, choose a spot with a wide-open view and little light pollution, and you can enjoy the sight with the naked eye low in the southwest. Astronomy photography enthusiasts can also try their hand at capturing the scene with an interesting foreground and take some beautiful pictures."

"Venus is going to be near the moon tonight," I said. "Don't forget to look."

"Still thinking about Venus and the moon? Maybe worry more about who's going to be by your side."
