Strong Seme Leads and Mutual Devotion
A fan of old-school, patriarchal tastes and top-perspective stories. Mutual devotion, with strong, compelling tops. I’m character-focused and mainly recommend plot-driven stories with two equally powerful leads and plenty of catharsis.
Top Recommendations for Seme-Protagonist Stories
Su-style tops and fans of dominant, take-charge tops. I love the chase-your-husband-to-the-crematorium trope. I lean slightly toward tops, but I'm not too picky.
BL Rebirth
Rebirth stories.
Mutual Pampering, With a Top-Leaning Preference
Personal favorites.
Top-Centric Stories
All of these are books I finished after buying the complete editions. Just my personal opinions!!! This is part reading log, part recommendations and content warnings. May bad luck stay away! The list is complete; my neighboring top-centric list 2.0 is still being updated~
Top-Dom Stories

A Picky Eater Who Loves Everyone's Cooking, and a Genre-Fluid Reader
Recent reads, including gong-focused, shou-focused, no-CP, and more... (P.S. I've been really into insectoid stories these past two years...) My reviews are extremely subjective!!
Top-Protagonist Feel-Good Stories
Long Aotian protagonists from Qidian as bottoms, Qidian-style novels, and wish-fulfillment stories. All are top-focused. I've included some stories mistakenly tagged as bottom-focused, for fellow top-focused readers.
Top-Dom Leads, Protagonist Fans, Mutual Pampering, and BL Couples
No weak gong/strong shou or strong gong/weak shou pairings. For readers who like couples on equal footing.
Mutual-Pampering Reads, 100% Fully Purchased
BL + BG | Mutual pampering is the bare minimum. Different POVs and preferences are clearly marked, so take what you want and don't leave warnings or criticism | Preferences: beautiful and strong characters / strong x strong
Younger Semes or CEO/Powerful Uke
Underdog-to-top stories, mostly with younger gong protagonists and CEO shou or powerful, high-ranking shou. Updated at random. [P.S. Some aren't available on JJ; feel free to check the comments.]
Showbiz Stories Worth Rereading
Some showbiz stories worth rereading. Includes all kinds of familiar tropes, like the groveling-after-the-breakup trope.
Top-Male-Lead Stories (My Personal Folder)
I like cool, overpowered gongs. I can love on a weak gong too, and my tastes are all over the place. I'm fine with gong-dotes-on-shou and a slightly clingy shou. I'm not too intense about my preferences. I have the occasional weird craving. I love gong-chasing-the-shou-to-the-crematorium stories.
Original Danmei, Top Protagonist!!
I like powerful, charismatic semes; I'm a protagonist stan. Whether a character is seme-focused is a matter of opinion.
Completed 9-Point Danmei 1
Mostly seme-focused, with some switching or unclear, protagonist stans
BL Stories
Some danmei recommendations I really like. There are more stories with tops as the protagonists. I haven't read many bottom-centric stories in the last couple of years; most of those I read were years ago, so I can't remember them very well.
A Happy Home for Top-Obsessed Readers
Everyone has different tastes, so choose your own delicious little corner.
Entertainment Industry, Seme-Focused
Entertainment industry
Top
I think one or two of these have switch dynamics.
Mostly Top-Led, No-CP
I usually tend to prefer gongs????
Novels with a Top Protagonist
For my own reading archive
Pure Love
I’m a carefree little bookworm who’s having the time of my life (??????)?? I hope I can share some interesting books I’ve loved, that have moved me, and that have kept me company.

Good danmei
Top-Led, Preferably with a Dotting Top and a Loved Bottom
1v1, highly recommended, with a steady power-progression arc

This is one of my favorite articles [Good Luck Lotus] [Good Luck Lotus] [Kiss] Thank you to the author for writing such a good article. He is really the god in the mutual love article. I will always love Lu Yan and Su Mo, the two best people in the world. In parallel time and space, you must always be happy??
The best love in the entertainment industry written in my heart
I really like this book. I have read it several times. I don't know if I can wait until the author starts writing again. Woohoo.
Two years later, watching it again, it felt different. Sure enough, it was written in 2013, and the writing style is really immature. I can't remember when I read it. How do you feel? Now that I see Lu and Su getting along, Lu feels a bit like Mary Sue's domineering president, but yeah, I feel quite happy watching it, hahaha
Yanmo 99 xql who loves each other very much
After watching [Spreading Flowers] I really found something
"She" is a big thorn in the side of the author~ him
Let's review the preview of the end of the world that I was waiting for you when I finished watching it. I especially remember that Da Guo Shi had not finished it at that time_(: D)∠)_ It seems that it is really within my lifetime.
2021, Happy new year
After several years, five updates, and a number change in the middle, I finally received the physical copy of this book. Woohoo, salted fish has given me the greatest happiness this year! I'm so touched, wow, my white moonlight
