The Goddess Lets Her Guard Down

Words left unspoken, but love is never silent. When Lu Lingxuan first met Bai Mu as a child, she declared him hers. "Bai Mu, I don't like it when you look at anyone else for more than five seconds." "Bai Mu, I hate how kind you are to everyone else, while ignoring me." "Bai Mu, is it really so hard to say you like me?" "I forgot you're mute and can't speak, Bai Mu..." Bai Mu still remembered the first time he saw Lu Lingxuan. She had proudly declared him hers. The first time that woman tried to cook, she nearly burned down the whole kitchen. Her red eyes made her look like a rabbit. The first time that woman got jealous, she nearly wandered off and got lost. But when she found him, she cried like a child. The first time that woman kissed him, she nearly made him lose himself completely, yet when she smiled, she looked like an angel. But how could he have forgotten? How could a mute tell her, "I love you"? Who can pass on my words? Tell her I love her. I'm just a mute who can speak. In her eyes, I'm not even as good as some random passerby. Love may be priceless, but who has ever truly counted its worth? Who can teach me to love her? My heart aches too much to speak. I love her. I wish someone could take her place. Theme:
