The Investiture of the Gods

A self-reliant heroine, forging her way along the long road to immortality, seeking answers high and low. The prequel is [Crossover] Counting the Heroes (purely historical). You don't need to read it to understand this story. [Note] The setting draws mainly on history from the end of the Shang dynasty and the beginning of the Zhou, as well as myths passed down from the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. A few details from Investiture of the Gods have also been retained. (For example, the mythological tales of Yang Jian, Nezha, and Li Jing only took shape in the Song and Ming dynasties, but their images are so deeply rooted in people's minds that they've been included as well.)
