So You Love Me Most

Some say that at sixteen, you'll meet the person you'll love most in your life. So, have you met them?

Xia Xiaohe once met him, the boy who was as clear as winter and bright as summer to her.

This is a memory, one that stayed deep in Xia Xiaohe's heart. It was once something she couldn't face or understand, but it was worth waiting for.

In this life, there may be only one person for whom we can wait, again and again, through the years.

Perhaps he will forget. Perhaps he will change. But one day, he will find his way back to her...

"I've been right here all along. Surely, one day, I'll see you again."

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you.

My soul longs for you as a deer longs for streams of water. Bible, Psalms 42:1

Original title: Love Was Brave After All

[Floating Life Series]:

[Our Series: New Serial]

This may seem like an incredibly niche high school romance, or perhaps something more.

The story spans a long stretch of time, and is more like the story of one person's waiting and memories.

I often find myself reminiscing about those dark yet captivating high school days. I wrote this story to preserve the days I miss.
