Killing Kikyo, You Too Will Grow Old

Kikyo is always looking after her. Dr. Naraku is always dropping by for a meal. Police officer Sango from the Taijiya family is always hard at work. The lecherous monk Miroku is always following her around. Her mother, grandfather, and younger brother Souta are always smiling as they welcome them all. These little moments of happiness make up Higurashi Kagome's everyday life throughout her three years of high school. And yet, a curious feeling of deja vu always lingers in her heart. It seems as though things were always meant to be this way, and yet something is different. That is, until the day she fails her university entrance exams and chases after that figure with silver hair... Higurashi Kagome's everyday life is shattered. "You'll grow old someday, too. When that time comes, if you can find me..." Will you keep this promise? So Jaken is seven or eight hundred years old... Wait, then five hundred years isn't really that long for a great demon, is it? The thought came to me after listening to the radio drama "The Day After Tomorrow." So I let my imagination run wild and wrote the opening of this Sesshomaru/Kagome story, hehe☆ (Turns out you shouldn't just go around performing brain surgery.) The timeline is set before Chapter 558 of the manga, and completely rewrites Kagome's three years of high school. The plan is for a modern-day first part and a Warring States period second part, though I'm not even sure I'll make it to the Warring States part...
