Dolphin

Like a silver whistle tossed high into the air, it was sharp, bright, and melodious, closer to heavenly music than any sound in the mortal world. Riding the radiance of sea and stars, the dolphin and its song leaped together, rushing to freedom a moment before the giant net closed.

Her azure hair streamed in the wind, dancing swiftly and reflecting a pearl-like brilliance. At the very peak of her leap, she turned her head ever so slightly, her deep black eyes filled with sorrow.
