When Promises Expire

When a promise expires, can you make me another wish?

You should know that it takes thousands of exchanged glances in a past life to earn one fleeting moment of passing each other by.

If you make me hate you until the end of my life, then forgive me. At the moment of my death, I will finally be free of my resentment toward you.

I drift through one world after another, just to find that familiar silhouette and put my mind at ease.

Before I knew it, I had eked out a few more centuries. Hundreds of years passed, and your shadow was still nowhere in my world.

When your silver silhouette appeared before my eyes, I was finally able to smile sweetly.

I will spend the next few thousand years preserving your eternal smile.
