Green Snake

From our first meeting to falling in love, it seemed to happen in the blink of an eye, yet this fate was already sealed.

Fa Hai, through so many cycles of reincarnation, I have carried the memories, while you have known nothing.

Humans and demons follow different paths. Is this really the fate written for us?

Why is it that when I finally see everything clearly, you still cannot see the road between us?

What should I choose?

Once, I was a little demon who knew nothing, and you were an ordinary man devoted to love.

Fate brought me, who knew nothing of love, together with you, who loved only one person.

Then destiny sent you into the cycle of reincarnation to become an enlightened monk, while I remained a demon, a demon who had cultivated for a thousand years.

Why, when I remembered everything, was I met with your indifference?

Why, just when I had given up, could you no longer let go?

Could this be Heaven’s test for me, and yours as well?
