Original title: How a Monster Wrecked the World of Merfolk He was a fish, and not just any fish: he had wings and glowed. He fell asleep. After who knew how long, he woke up, but in the wrong place, and the scenery was even more wrong! Had the world changed just because he slept for a few thousand years? Were all the monsters dead? They thought he was a mermaid and wanted him to have their babies? Just wait until he eats them until nothing but bones are left! That means eating as in having a meal, literally. And so begins the story of a monster mistaken for a mermaid, who gets so furious he ends up wrecking the world. From the waters of Zitong, a river flows west into the Yuru Marsh. There are many gu fish there. They look like fish with the wings of birds, and glow when they move in and out of the water. Their cries sound like mandarin ducks. Their appearance foretells a great drought throughout the land. The character gu is written as gui in modern script and pronounced hua. The original cover was a lovingly hand-drawn mess with wonderful lettering. This new one... QAQ I didn't do it, it must have been made by one of JJ's amazing artists. It's lovely too, yes. Fist raised in thanks for the artist's hard work. The original hand-drawn cover is copyrighted. Reposting or stealing it will be punished without mercy! The male lead is the man he sees when he wakes up =,= I'm the author's mom, so I'll definitely give them a happy ending.
