First Love

More than ten years ago, there were her and Du Hanxiang.

They were deskmates and friends, always at each other's throats, evenly matched. If you made my life miserable, I'd make sure to get even.

Their usual lines went like this:

Du Hanxiang: "Boring. Pervert. I hope you lie awake all night."

Mu Zhengfeng: "Bowl cut. Du Hanxiang, you're not angry again, are you? You don't even understand this. Are you even a woman?"

Every day, they each kept up a running inner monologue…

Ten years later, there were her and Du Hanxiang.

The prim Du Hanxiang had transformed. Her bowl cut had become long, flowing curls, and her buttoned-up shirts had turned into dresses. Since when did that flat figure have curves? For a reunion gift, the deputy editor simply waved her magic pen and turned this lazy turtle who'd returned from overseas into a woman who fought off a mistress, got rid of her husband, and ended up an unwanted divorcee... The problem was that she had actually confessed, "I like you more than anyone in the whole world," to this version of her. What on earth had gotten into her...?

When a flirt goes up against a prude, thick skin is a superpower. But now that the prude has taken off her shell, where can the turtle run...~~~~(>_<
