Dreams of Illusory Love

(A story set in the world of Chinese Paladin 3... The timeline is during the War Between Gods and Demons, even earlier than the events of Chinese Paladin 3. Uh, so it doesn't have much to do with the game, though now and then it brushes up against the story, such as when certain game characters make brief cameo appearances... Nothing important, though XD) A mournful tune leaves how many drunk? Tears fall like rain, Crystal shatters. Beneath flowers and moonlight, Vows flow away like water. Half a lifetime of memories, dust and ash, A visible hope, Yet nowhere to pursue. Drunk, I watch the cold seep into my bones, Tears fall in vain, Their taste unknown. Tonight and long ago, Where can we hope to be together? A lone boat on green waters, a vision in a mirror, Searching for the past, Longing for the wild geese in flight. We've always been searching for something: power, the past, memories, the ones we love… We always think we have everything under control, yet so many things go wrong between us… What is the "Illusory Scroll"? What am I going to do with it? What am I searching for? And who is he waiting for? What goal lies beyond gaining power? And who is her beloved to me? Even though our ending has already been revealed in this illusory world of flowers reflected in water and the moon mirrored in the lake, I still have no answers to all those countless questions…
