Sting

I don't know what to write or what to do. I can't argue back, but I don't want to give in. I long for freedom, but I don't want to leave. I don't know who I am, much less where I came from. I only know that home is far away, and my longing reaches to the edge of the sky... I stood at the front, shielding you from every storm and snowflake, while you laughed and joked. I stood at the very back, cutting off your retreat, and you didn't even notice. Later, I chose to stand in the middle, but you still didn't know danger was already beside you. So I'd rather face the danger alone, even if I'm left without help, stranded at the ends of the earth...
