War of Yesteryear: (Extra) Who Says We Have No Clothes?

On the Investiture Platform, enemy generals who once fought with blood in their eyes have become ghosts that flicker in the wind. With nothing else to do, they wander about, bickering for amusement. Watching them languish in boredom, Huang Tianhua can’t help but recall all those scattered memories... This is a story derived from the original Investiture of the Gods and Journey to the West. I originally hoped to write it as a full-length novel, but I don’t think I can manage that anytime soon, so for now, this is only a fragment. Some parts may feel rather abrupt. I’ll gradually fill them in and complete the whole story later. I’m rather fond of this pairing. The character portrayals draw on the original works and many adaptations and derivative works, including film and television, folk arts, comics, and more, though overall they lean toward the traditional. I’ve also given many supporting characters new interpretations from my own perspective, though most have little to do with the pairing. As long as readers don’t mind the protagonists, there shouldn’t be any unpleasant surprises, haha. Theme:
