The Yue Luo Volume: Yue Luo is a little girl born into a silk shop. She's clever and mischievous, yet innocent and kindhearted. This volume follows her growth, set against the backdrop of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Fantasy and history come together to tell a legend.

The poem says: When it blooms, it is like snow. When it fades, it is like snow. It is a marvel among flowers. Its fragrance is not in the stamens, nor in the petals, but permeates its very bones. It claims the stream breeze and lingers beneath the streamside moon. Even the blood-red mountain peach pales with shame. Though it may be sparse and pale, it has a character all its own.

The main events span the years around the Tang Dynasty. This story shares the same world setting as The Seven Halls of Yama: Prequel.

This was the first long novel I wrote, a long time ago. I didn't handle the structure, pacing, or balance of detail very well, and I was too focused on ornate wording. There are also many historical errors. For example, A Luo should have gone to Luoyang, the Eastern Capital, rather than Chang'an; the year should have been the first year of Ruyi; and she should have been addressed as “young lady,” not “Miss,” and so on.

Please don't read this story for now. I'll be hiding my face and running away in embarrassment~

I'll make major revisions in the future, and those of you who've read it may not even recognize the original when I'm done. The Beauty's Bones series may end here. I still have many better stories I haven't written, and I probably won't have the energy to expand it into a series in the next few years.
