"She judges the sins beyond the reach of kings and laws; she forgives the countless truths that walk among us." "She bears the weight of lives past, yet exists for the future. She has been utterly destroyed, and still she endures forever." So said Lady Yvette Cistoria, High Priestess of the British Museum Library. - The most arrogant woman in Britain once thought that her long life and abundant wisdom meant no living being could ever move her. - Until that person said, "I will love you until my last breath." ◇ A long-form side story. Please read the main story, "Midnight Tales from the British Library," first. ◆ The male lead appears below. The author is a manga fan. Those intelligence-deficient plot points from TV seasons one and two do not exist here. ◇ The entire plot is original and not set in an alternate universe. Many original and historical characters appear. I have washed my face and am waiting for the original work to come and beat me up. As Teacher Kurose says: Black Butler is not a BL manga. ◆ A light story about the Library Princess. The historian setting is drawn from ancient China through the Spring and Autumn period and has nothing to do with Britain. This includes some of my personal headcanons, and my research is lacking. ◇ Find me on Weibo: Feiwu Lieren S-ORA
