Will the Backlight Smile?

Against the light, someone asked, “What does it take to find a smile?”

The wind from the past said, “Cross ten thousand light-years, and you can touch it.”

“Then will I be happy if I go against the light?”

The wind from the past fell silent.

I think the thing I regret most in this life is saving a hero in distress.

The happiest thing in my life is meeting him, a gentle man with a cunning streak.

This is a short story. I hope you enjoy it.
