Dream of the Red Chamber: Qin Zhong, by Liu Yanzhi, a contracted author on Jinjiang Literature City
Blurb: Who is Qin Zhong? He is the younger brother of Qin Keqing, the most famous beauty in Dream of the Red Chamber!
A thousand charms, all summed up in the word "dashing."
And who is Qin Zhong? He is passably handsome and a little bit cute.
But none of that can hide his true nature: a rough man whose life is utterly unremarkable and whose behavior is occasionally downright ridiculous.
But... what happens when a rough man with not a hint of femininity is suddenly crushed to death by a book, then transmigrates into the body of this tempting little bottom...
...Don't get your hopes up. A rough man will never turn into a delicate little bottom.
In this crumbling fictional dynasty, corrupt officials rule, and the brutal onslaught of early capitalism threatens this feudal empire. The country is on the brink of collapse. No real man could stand by and let the people suffer another invasion by the Eight-Nation Alliance!
And so...
Other bottoms just sit back and enjoy the good life while their tops go out and conquer the world.
Qin Zhong, on the other hand, can only drag his top along to fight for a better future!
In this strange world inside a book, little Qin Zhong has transmigrated into Qin Zhong and can only do his best to level up, clear the stages, and fight the monsters.
Note: TUT, old Liu is finally going to play the fool and butcher the original Dream of the Red Chamber.
Every kind of fanfiction butchers the original, and so am I. But if my interpretation of any character in Dream of the Red Chamber seems extreme, it's definitely because I have malicious intentions. Everyone has their own opinions, and opinions are always changing. I'll share mine, and you can share yours. What I love is talking with people who love the book. More than anything, I hope you can see between the lines how much I love it. All I ask is to find kindred spirits.
This story ends the way the women of the Department of the Ill-Fated end up. The protagonist won't interfere with the path of the women who seek immortality, but if he happens to cross their way, he'll lend them a hand. Old Liu is a committed feminist. I absolutely do not think that giving Chai and Dai each a worthy husband would make for a happy ending, nor do I think that remaining single for life would be a bad one. The ending I've written is based on the heavenly secrets revealed in the original, though, of course, I've also mixed in some idealism of my own.
Though, well... I did stray a little from the plan T_T
One-on-one, happy ending. Main character is the bottom, older man is the top (a real uncle-type top!). Incestuous romance, proceed with caution. He won't fool around with men while marrying and having children with a woman. He'll stay devoted to one person.
About Qin Zhong in the original:
- "Clear brows and bright eyes, a powdered face and red lips, handsome figure and graceful manners, seeming even more dashing than Baoyu."
- "Shy and gentle, blushing before he even speaks, timid and bashful, with the air of a girl."
- First fooled around with Baoyu, then got involved with his classmate Xianglian. He may also have had a secret affair with Liu Xianglian. He had the nerve to flirt with the nun Zhineng in Lady Jia's room and even "embraced her." In the end, he shamelessly slept with Zhineng at his older sister Qin Keqing's funeral!
- This shameless, promiscuous scumbag of a bottom eventually had his affair with Zhineng exposed, causing his father to die of anger. Though he came to regret his actions before he died, he still died young, at just twelve or thirteen. (The ancients were really something. At twelve or thirteen, he already had so many lovers and...)

First, I offer nine sticks of incense in tribute. Master Cao, I apologize in advance. If I happen to guess your intentions in this story, feel free to be moved down there at your leisure, but don't go out of your way to come find me. If I completely butchered what you meant, don't rush to find me either. Wait until I'm dead, then I'll work like an ox or a horse to atone to you!
Feel free to dig through my other trashy stories in my author column!
VIP notice: This story enters VIP on October 28. Come take a look QAQ. I'm so nervous. I hope nobody actually says my story is worth less than buying a meat bun to feed a dog...

If you're a student without pocket money, you can take part in Jinjiang's [Earn Jinjiang Coins for Free] activities. Do tasks to earn coins. Most are things like signing up, trying out games (usually you just register and play for five minutes), filling out surveys (these pay well, just answer truthfully, though they take a little time), or registering as a user (even easier). The rewards vary, but I tried it myself and earned a few thousand JJ coins in an afternoon, enough to read several stories.
If you have a chance to read stories legally and safely, don't go to those piracy sites covered in ads. If your computer gets a virus, you'll have to pay to get it fixed.

A story by my pal Yaotao:
I remember reading it and talking to the author in the group... I felt like things were different and people were different.
It's been a mess for many years. It's quite well written, but it's a pity that it's no longer updated.
Let's take a look at the update~ Sure enough, I'm still not fat~ Long time no see^_^
Liuliu: I seriously think you have forgotten Xiao Gong! Otherwise, why would the little beast keep making friends on his own? !
Happy birthday to you!! ^_^
Liu Acridine, what do you want me to say? ! The word count is only 3 points after such a long time...
4 Points of cheating. I originally wanted to slap the author in the face, but seeing how cute the author is, I decided to give it several chances to discuss it.
Do you know I'm waiting for you? . .
Sprinkle flowers~~I've been waiting for too long and I don't want to watch it, rz
