[Ye-Fu, Modern] So Glad to Have You

Everyone wants to be happy.

How many people get to have it?

Among the sea of faces, who have you met?

You must never have forgotten that person.

The Buddha says,

Five hundred glances in a past life are exchanged for one chance encounter in this life.

There are some people you can never bring yourself to treat as strangers,

because they are not only by your side, but also in your heart.

This story is dedicated to Xiaochong's song. It's wonderful to have you. This story was inspired by the song, but unfortunately...

A gentle song and tender feelings gave birth to a story that is anything but gentle. So, dear friends, you'd better read the following warnings first.

[Jiujie's Warnings]

PS1: This story is set in the modern era. Anyone who has read the modern arc of King Meets King knows what Jiujie's modern stories are like.

PS2: This story is a wild child. Jiujie might write Ye-Fu fanfiction in the future, but it has nothing whatsoever to do with this one.

PS3: The main character may turn dark. Those who love Ye Kai or Fu Hongxue deeply, or who are easily upset by potentially troubling content, should proceed with caution.

PS4: The characters aren't as righteous as they are in the original, and their dispositions aren't as kind and gentle as in the show. So, well...

This story may be a wild child, but that doesn't mean I haven't put my heart into it. Jiujie still loves these two very much, and hopes you can get past any potential landmines and enjoy the story.
