Driving in Initial D

Ever since Liu Bu came to Neon to study abroad, she's had no luck in love.

First, her graduate-student senior at the University of Tokyo's medical school dumped her.

Then her boyfriend, a reserve police officer who'd graduated from the police academy, broke up with her.

After hitting a romantic dead end twice, Liu Bu decided to close her heart and focus on her career!

But then

The apartment she rented nearly got blown sky-high by eight bombs, and the Explosives Disposal Unit officer who saved her was her ex-boyfriend's unlucky classmate.

Then, while on vacation, she nearly got blown sky-high by eight bombs again on a Ferris wheel, and the officer who saved her was still her ex-boyfriend's unlucky classmate.

She decided to get away for a while, but ended up finding her ex-boyfriend's childhood friend in an alley by the roadside.

She decided she couldn't stay in Neon any longer and planned to return home, only to be told by airport staff that there was a problem with her visa and she couldn't board.

Then she saw her ex-boyfriend for the first time in ages.

He said, "We never broke up!"

He said, "I can't leave Neon. I can't leave him!"

He said, "Stay..."
