Excerpt One:
The moonlight was cold, silver light spread across the ground.
The two sat side by side, drinking deeply, yet neither said a word. Their countless sorrows passed silently between them. Both carried too much in their hearts, whether obsession or hatred. At that moment, their souls were in perfect accord. Any words would have seemed pale and inadequate; there was no need to describe it aloud.
Through her drunken haze, she narrowed her eyes slightly and watched Chou Nie rise with her sword. The blade swept through the air like the wind, cutting across the moon. The wind stirred, leaves danced, and the vast sea seemed no more than a scattering of millet. Light streaked chaotically across the night, filling it with stars, as if the clatter of armies had entered her dreams. She laughed and recited loudly, "Drunk, I draw my sword; in dreams, I return to the battlefield. Three thousand miles of road beneath clouds and moonlight; on fifty strings, I hear the bugle call. The autumn troops assemble on the field; sword in hand, I ride beyond the frontier. I settle the affairs of my homeland and all under heaven, seeking no fame in life or death. How tragic..." She gave a low laugh, filled with sorrow. "How tragic that my lofty ambitions will never be fulfilled!"
Excerpt Two:
"Cough, cough, cough. I'm not dead yet." Chou Nie's voice rang out.
Though her voice was so cold and heartless, it inexplicably filled Mu Jin's heart with warmth and hope. Thank goodness, thank goodness she was all right. Mu Jin looked up and saw Chou Nie standing before the shattered stone gate, gazing over calmly, the faintest hint of a smile at the corner of her lips.
"You bastard!" She had made Mu Jin worry so much, made her so heartbroken. Tears streamed uncontrollably down Mu Jin's face. She should have been happy, yet she couldn't stop crying.
Excerpt Three:
"Then just wait and see. Watch me bring your Nalan family to ruin, with no chance of ever rising again!"
"Fine. I'll wait and see. From this day forward, we are strangers, and when we meet again, we will be enemies." Nalan Yu Jin clenched her fist so tightly that the armrest creaked beneath her other hand. Her expression was blank, her gaze resolute. After speaking those words one by one, she stared coldly at Chou Nie.
Chou Nie leaned against the screen as a cold wind howled between them. "There was never any kindness between us, only hatred. You killed my father and stole my husband. I will make your Nalan family pay for it in blood." With that, she said no more, turned, and strode out.
Excerpt Four:
Amid a sea of red leaves, Chou Nie stood silently in a single layer of clothing, surrounded by loneliness and sorrow, as if she were the only person left in the world. She lifted her head and gazed at the layers of red leaves overhead, frozen in place.
Chou Nie closed her eyes, but the scarlet scene still filled her vision and would not fade. A tear slipped from the corner of her eye and fell coldly onto her collar, spreading across the fabric. Drops of water appeared on her white clothes, one after another, growing into larger stains, faint as a misty landscape painting.
With ten years as their limit, they would destroy the Yan Kingdom and settle their feud. From then on, they would never meet again, in life or death.
When they first met, they admired one another and became confidantes.
When they met again, they fell for one another and swore sisterhood.
But everything changed in a single day. They cut ties and spent more than ten years entangled in the deep hatred between their families and countries.
A ten-year pact. A battle to the death.
Their bold words still rang in their ears, as armies thundered through their dreams. At dawn, they saw each other again as they had at their first meeting. In dreams, they did not know their collars were wet with tears.
Also, if you can't see the updated chapters, replace "www" with "my". Apparently, that works.

Completed fic: A story about falling in love over time with the person I teased after being reborn
News Reporter
Theme:
Although it is really beautiful, it is so sad and heartbreaking. For the suffering this family suffered, and for the lifelong entanglement and love between Qingyun and Nalanruo. Yujin and Yunuan were supposed to love each other, and Qingyun and Nalanruo were supposed to grow old together. This article finally became a piece of cake for me.
Finally found another high-quality article. When I read it, I felt that the heroine's mother has the aura of the protagonist. It turns out that there is also a first one.
An article that still makes me cry after reading it three times
I went, and when I read the copy, I thought I had entered the female title Lily. . .
I'm so happy to see such a happy ending~
Are there any new heroine novels to watch? You have to keep writing. And what about the extra story about Mu Qingyun and Nalanruo?
So sad... The painting is really heart-wrenching
The children in the Nalan family are all very lovable.
I think Qiu Jia is a bit unworthy of Yurun, Yurun is so good!
Fortunately, Ruyu didn't die. By the way, Wen Yue is really good, I like him very much. He is soft on the outside but strong on the inside, and has the courage to pursue his own happiness. Relatively speaking, Yu is more suitable for Qiu Ni, but it is a bit too weak to choose to commit suicide by throwing himself into the river. Maybe when he threw himself into the river, he did not want to serve Yu Jin, but he did not want to see Qiu Ni take risks to save him.
