A Qing-Dynasty Tale: Consort Qi, Lady Li

Li Yan is an exorcist who can command all kinds of ghosts. When her former lover used a soul as a curse to activate a soul spell, she was attacked in turn by the vengeful ghost Li. Ordered to avenge her, Li Yan transmigrates to the Qing dynasty and embarks on a path of palace intrigue, household scheming, ghost exorcism, and revenge. No romance. Happy ending. Note: This is a Qing-dynasty crossover fanfiction, combining TV series and books about the Qing dynasty's Yongzheng Emperor, including The Yongzheng Emperor, The Legend of Yongzheng's Consorts, and Secrets of the Qing Dynasty. Qi Fei, surnamed Li, was the daughter of Prefect Li Wen Ye and one of the Yongzheng Emperor's consorts. When Emperor Shizong of Qing was still Prince Yong, Li was his secondary consort. He favored her greatly in the early years, and she bore him three sons and a daughter. Only one son and one daughter survived. Her son Hongshi was rejected by Yongzheng, her daughter died young, and in her later years she lived alone, unloved and forgotten.
