[Reborn!] Lies

The Rococo-carved hand of the clock moves past its final mark.

The ancient clock chimes the hour.

Earrings of Tahitian black pearls gleam brilliantly.

The ribbons of velvet red dancing shoes flutter with captivating elegance.

An embossed silver mask conceals a secret no one can know.

Would you rather sip red wine beneath the eaves of an old basilica-style church, or dance barefoot in an empty harbor along the Mediterranean coast?

The prince takes the witch's hand, while the princess and the demon count enjoy a pleasant conversation.

Which is real, and which is false? Unmask the lies with your own hands.

The curtain rises, and the ball begins. May you enjoy a delightful night and dream sweetly at dawn.

· White-haired male lead, one-on-one, short story. This is a product of the author's frustration after Byakuran went off the rails, got killed off, was redeemed, and then got killed off again. The author could no longer stomach TY's twisted sense of fun._

· I wrote this in an incredible rush, so please forgive the plot holes and out-of-character moments. I don't even know whether I managed to express what I wanted to say...

· Don't be fooled by the blurb. It's actually ad copy for a masquerade ball event, and the story is nothing like that._ The author is having a fit, you know how it is.

· Cover pendant by Zhuangzi.
