[Water Margin + The Fisherman's Revenge] [Qi Shun] The Fishing Village

A story for the Chief's pig. The plot is basically a hodgepodge of the TV drama, the original work, and the opera. The part based on The Fisherman Kills the Family... could count as a sequel to Water Margin. It tells what happened after Seventh Master, under the assumed name Xiao En, went into hiding on the river. The story itself is pretty simple, but I thought it could serve as a starting point and a thread tying together many memories from Seventh Master’s perspective after he retired from the world. That bead, Qing Ding Zhu, which lets its bearer breathe underwater, immediately made me think of Zhang Shun. So I came up with the assumption that the bead was connected to Shunzi. Honestly, seeing Seventh Master put up with the local tyrant in The Fisherman Kills the Family made him seem so OOC to me... So this story tries to explain, from the perspective of Qi and Shun (ahem), why he put up with it for a while, and why he finally snapped and killed the fisherman tyrant’s whole family... P.S. I’m a traditional Song Jiang hater and anti-amnesty, so Song Jiang will probably be pretty unlikeable in this story, and the amnesty will be a thoroughly black-hearted, hate-magnet kind of thing... Well, that’s that. orz Another P.S. Xiao Qi and Zhang Shun are really quite a crack pairing... so some things have been changed from the original, like their partnership and such. Theme:
