[Headless Annie] Real Queen

There is no princess waiting for a prince atop the tower, only a deposed queen awaiting death alone.

Years later, people often speak of a beautiful ghost carrying her own head beneath her arm, said to appear on the anniversary of Queen Anne's execution.

She rides in a carriage driven by a headless horseman, circling the tower and lingering there, like a dream in the dead of night...

A little wishful imagining about Anne Boleyn.

This isn't historical research, just something I wrote for fun. Since it's more of an outline I wrote as I went, I might revise it from time to time or something =.=

I've dreamed about this over and over since I was very, very young. It was strange.

The first time I dreamed it, I think I was still in elementary school. I hadn't seen anything about Queen Anne at the time. I just felt awful, because it was as if I were inside this woman's body and also watching her from the outside. Then, just a few days later, I came across her history in an encyclopedia... I was instantly covered in a cold sweat.
