Drunk on a Dream in Chang'an

It's a very old-fashioned story about the bond between a fox and a scholar. On a snowy night, Scholar Chu brought home a snow fox that had just died. He had planned to skin it and sell the pelt, but the fox unexpectedly came back to life, and kindhearted Scholar Chu couldn't bring himself to do it. He carefully tended to the injured snow fox, but once it had healed, it left on its own. Scholar Chu felt a little dejected. Soon after the fox was gone, a handsome man suddenly appeared in his home, claiming to be a distant uncle of his. And so... the story begins.
