Rusty Love (GL)

Doctor and patient? A shameless, clingy psychologist and a proud, wounded patient. A contract? Business interests are the original motivation for sticking together. A scheme? It begins with hatred, and there's a reason they meet again. The ending? Of course it's a happy ending. Love has rusted, riddled with holes. With every memory, red flakes of rust fall away. No matter how many times I coat it with a protective layer, I can't stop my heart from growing thinner and more fragile. I live for love, but love has abandoned me. You can't see the wounds, but that doesn't mean I never loved or suffered. It's just that the most fragile parts of me have been wrapped up layer upon layer. I'm fine, so why must you come knocking, break me open, set me free, and then make my rusted, broken heart burn with love again... This story is mostly lighthearted, with some warmth and a little heartache. Check out my new story! I hope you'll give it a read! My dear readers, please remember to bookmark, rate, and review!
