Digging a Trap and Waiting for You to Fall In (Reborn)

A fake rebirth story. After possessing a corpse, a philandering prince wanders the martial world, thinking only of keeping to himself. But no matter how hard he runs, there is always someone one step ahead. In the end, he is tricked into jumping straight into a trap someone else had prepared long ago...

Main CP: A philandering prince reborn as the martial world's top assassin encounters a scheming, sickly manor lord. The assassin is the gong, the manor lord the shou; the shou tops the gong, and neither of them is a good person.

In short, this is a story about seeing who can be the bigger scumbag. It's very melodramatic, but a little slow to warm up, and it has a happy ending. Updating as fast as I can. Please support me, bookmark, and make all kinds of requests (┬_┬)

What kind of miserable experience would it be for a pampered, philandering prince to be reborn as the martial world's number-one assassin?

Killing and arson aren't Shen Lingyan's forte, and martial-world feuds aren't his idea of fun. Even with a beauty right in front of him, Shen Lingyan decides that staying alive is what matters.

Unfortunately, there is always someone one step ahead. He runs and runs, but in the end, he circles back to where he started. It turns out that everything was already part of that scheming manor lord's plan. But since there's nowhere left to run, and Manor Lord Xue has delivered himself right to his door, Shen Lingyan can only reluctantly take him in...

It's easy to dodge blades and swords, but hard to guard against a beautiful man!

[Heads-up] Possible land mines in this story: 1. A scummy target to win over 2. Mostly told from the gong's point of view, so the official shou appears later 3. A tendency toward an everyone-is-gay setting

Announcement: The first part is complete. I'll start the second part as soon as I can. Please keep supporting the author, thank you ^-^
