(Hunter) Dark Sonata

The short version: We grew up together, and promises are meant to be kept!

As for the complicated version, there isn't one!

A note from the author:

1. This story is based on the anime from Season 1 through OVA 3. I haven't read the manga, so I'm completely ignoring the Ant arc that comes later. This has become one of my freewheeling works, which means the characters might be a little out of character! There aren't many major plot developments from before. You could say this is the ending I've imagined for myself.

2. The pairing isn't decided yet. I mean, I don't know whether it'll be Gon x Killua or Killua x Gon. They're both little boys to me right now! I'll let them grow up gradually, at least. So, undecided.

3. I'm not a Spider fan, so I might not portray these thirteen characters in a flattering light. But I won't make them look bad either... Just don't expect me to write much about anyone like Feitan or the others!

4. This is meant to be a slow-burn story. I've taken too many blows lately, but I absolutely won't abandon it. I'll just change the word count later, meaning I won't stick to a target of three thousand words or anything. I'll write however much I write.

5. There will also be a straight romance pairing in this story. If you don't want a straight romance in your boys' love, please stop here!

Ahem, that's about it. orz

I have no love for Hunter x Hunter lately! I've decided I'll finish this story before posting it all at once. So it's on hiatus for now. I won't update until I've written the ending.

Just to clarify, I insisted on adding the colors to the cover image. Ahem, if you think the cover doesn't fit, please don't criticize the image! Hehe... I just don't have much of an eye for this sort of thing.
