I'm only a fading shadow in the corner of your eye,

but you are the bond I find hardest to let go of in my life.

[On the surface] Kagura, reborn into a world in chaos, enjoys a peaceful and harmonious life (?).

[In truth] This is the story of a demon who thinks she's human, agonizing over her obsession with bringing Sesshomaru down.

1. Pairing: Sesshomaru/Kagura. Sweet with a little angst.

2. Medium-length story, happy ending, crackfic, no abandonment and no paid chapters.

3. It uses the original manga's setting, but takes place many years after the end of the Inuyasha manga... So it's half canon, half alternate universe. I'm not strict about historical accuracy, didn't consult Japanese history, and just made things up as I went. Mistakes are to be expected, so please don't scrutinize them.

4. Kagura's personality is based on the original. As the story progresses, she'll get... stranger and more unhinged.

5. As for Sesshomaru... anyone who can write him without making him seem out of character is a genius. I'm just an ordinary person.

The author got carried away, so this story now has an additional alternate-universe arc.

The pairing is still Sesshomaru x Kagura, but the setting has nothing to do with the original. Read at your own risk.
