His immortal abode is separated from Flower-Fruit Mountain by a river. He never expected that one day, a figure like an immortal would suddenly appear on the mountain across the way. In the spirit of being a friendly neighbor, Xuan Lan went over to pay a visit. The Demon King, clad in golden chain mail and wearing a purple-gold phoenix-wing crown, gave a soft laugh, his arrogance looking down on the whole world. An ill-fated bond arose. At the Peach Banquet, he led him all the way back to the blessed land where it had all begun. And so, he watched over him beside the Five Elements Mountain for five hundred years. And so, he took upon himself the burden of his killing karma, saving him, only to erase with his own hands the ill-fated bond between them. Much later... ---What kind of demon are you, anyway? ---I told you long ago, I'm a fox. Theme:
